 I t was morning. The King had accepted a lovely woman by the name of Desiree Talbot a few days ago. Since it was night time he allowed her to stay with him in his villa. For he had an extra room she could call her own until they found her a suitable villa for her own. The next day after he had accepted her he realized that there were only a couple of rundown villas left. He had a crew fixing them all up, and the first one that was done was hers. He was letting her stay with him until it was fixed. Although she had no idea he was even doing this for her. Dartainan liked seeing his Clan happy. Surprises were the best way to do so. Not only was he having it rebuilt but he was also having it furnished with all that she would need. Brand new stove, couches, a queen sized bed, and much more he thought a Neko would need.
Waking up he laid in his bed for just a moment before throwing back the covers and sitting on the edge of his king sized bed. Rubbing his eyes to get the sleep out of them. Looking at the window light tried to shine out from around his black out curtains. Getting up he pushed back the curtain and looked out for a moment, checking on his village for a moment before moving to get dressed. Moving to the closet he picked a pair of dark blue jeans and a black shirt. Leaving his tail and ears exposed to be seen. For in his village Dartainan knew he could be himself. Sliding on some socks and his black boots, he left his room.
Heading downstairs he went to the kitchen for he needed food. Opening the fridge he took the eggs, bacon, and biscuits out to get ready to make breakfast for himself and his guest. Putting the biscuits in the oven he left them rise to perfection. Frying the bacon first and then the eggs. Now to make the gravy. Once laying it out on the table he went back up the stairs to Desiress’s room, knocking on the door and speaking up,”breakfast is ready if you are hungry Miss.” With that he left her to get ready and come down if she so wished it. Heading back downstairs he sat down at the small breakfast table and waiting for her.

The sun rose up in the sky as morning started to come around. Desiree tried to cover her eyes from the rays with her forearm. She was usually a morning person in younger years, but living on her own had changed that habit greatly. Pushing off the sheets she head to the shower to clean herself up, and took the time to wash her hair. Turning off the water , she headed to her closet and pulled out a white flow shirt, a black mini skirt with some small heeled booties. Desiree's tail waved around from the back of her skirt. Going back to her bathroom she brushed her and combed out her blonde locks before putting a black headband just in front of her ears. Just as she finished up the smell of bacon filled her nose. Heading downstairs she saw Dartainan cooking breakfast, the sight of it all made her mouth water. Facing her king she gave a kind smile, " Good morning, and thank you for the breakfast." she fixed her plate with the contents before sitting down to eat.

D artainan was seated at the head of the table when she came down to join him. His green eyes watched her as she came down from the second floor. A small grin of greeting tugged at the corner of his lips while a small nod followed. His ears perked as she had thanked him for the meal, with a soft voice he spoke,”you’re very welcome Miss Talbot. I was sure you were hungry since you hadn't eaten much since you got here. Can't have my Ambassador hungry.” He began to fix his own plate as she had fixed hers. Taking two biscuits and gravy and a couple pieces of bacon. He silently bowed his head and gave a small thanks to their Goddess and then began to eat. The two sat in silence until he decided to speak up after swallowing a bite,”I have a surprise for you Miss Talbot. We shall go and see it after breakfast. I should hope you shall like it. For it should be finished before we leave to go and look at it.” He took a sip of his orange juice. He looked to her for a sign that she was pleased or not. For he didn’t normally do surprises, as he was a straight forward type of person. Taking another bite he swallowed and waited for her response.

A small chuckle rumbled in Desiree's throat with his small joke. It was rare for her to express a sense of laughter, especially with a stranger. While sitting she also gave a small thanks before eating. The bacon was delectable as each bite had made her mouth water, also the biscuits were soft and fluffy. Desiree continued to eat when her ears twitched when Dartainan had said he had a surprise for her. This had made Desiree sit a bit more taller in her seat, and placed a small grin on her face. " Why thank you my King, how thoughtful." She had never felt this attentive ever since Emilia, so it was strange feeling. " Wow! This is very exciting, It's been awhile since I've been treated with this much kindness." She said happily. Desiree soon was a finished with her plate and wiped her mouth with her napkin.

A fter a few more bites Dartainan was finished with his food as well. Taking the last sip of his orange juice. He wiped his face with a napkin and then stood to take his plate to the kitchen and place it in the sink to be done later. ”Well, here you shall be treated respectfully by all. Should someone have a problem with you then they can come and speak about it with me,” walking back to the table he took Desiree’s plate as well. Cleaning the table to be fit for their next meal. He put all the leftovers in tupperware containers and then into the fridge. A small chuckle escaped his throat,”can’t help myself but cook for an army. Always making sure there is something to eat that only needs to be warmed up for a quick bite to eat.” His black ears swiveled while his tail hung loosely behind him. With a content sigh he folded his arms over his chest and looked to Desiree with a small grin before speaking,”are you ready to go and see what I have for you?” Heading for the door he opened it and waited for her to go though so he could close and lock it behind them. Glancing outside it was a beautiful day of sunshine and a cloudless sky of blue overhead. “It’s going to be a beautiful day,” he looked back to her.

Desiree smiled lightly at at his comment. Well that's good that he would always provide for his clan. She thought to herself before look back to Dartainan. She nodded her head as he asked if she was ready to go, " Why yes, of course! She stood up from her chair and pushed it in before following behind. She soon went upstairs quickly and grabbed her over the shoulder bag just in case she may need something later. As Desiree headed towards the door, she heard Dartainan talking about the weather. Stepping out of the house she looked up and took a breath with her tail wiggling back and forth. She really loved sunny weather as it made her feel happy even in her darker day. "Yep, it sure is." She said as headed down the steps that led down to ground.

Dart's Table #1 D artainan stepped down after her, closing and locking the door to his villa. Off in the distance, he could hear the livelihood of his kingdom. Nekomata hustling about in the streets. Some in their feline forms other walking upon two legs. The king's ears stood at attention to the noise, listening for any trouble. As the new walked along many others dipped their heads in respect of the two, saying their good mornings and hellos. Dartainan saying them back with a dip of his head or a polite nod and smile. His tail loose behind him as it gave a small flicker at times. With a slight smirk he looked to Desiree,”so, tell me what you think it is?” His voice laced with amusement and a small chuckle. Steps steady and graceful, he walked a bit slower than he usually would to give them a chance to speak. Dartainan waited for her response about his surprise to her.

The village bustled with Nekomatas moving out and about. Desiree had never seen so much of her kind in long since moving away. Her grin grew widely as she also nodded her head gently to everyone as they passed by. She walked quietly with Dartainan, trying to keep up with his strides but he soon slowed down as she heard him beginning to speak to her. Desiree's ears flatten when she began to think about of the he asked her. She never was that good at guessing at things. Her eyes soon lit up when a thought entered her head. "Hmm... is it a secret training room." She said excitedly. " Or maybe, your taking me to the part of the village were other Nekomatas live." Desiree smiled sweetly as she spoke to her king.
