SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Why..? Why was he here.. Here in the night club? what did he expect to gain from coming here. He hated anything to do with the humans and the Nekomatas but still nonetheless, Choi Kang Chi, no.. That was his birth name, Zedekiah Smith found himself in the Crucible Night Club sitting at the bar watching, surveying, the room. It was a dirty, disgusting, place and usually he would have nothing to do with something like this but here he was. His curiosity brought him here, ever since being told that his father had been part of a pack and left it to live among humans he had been curious as to why.. Humans were foul creatures and did nonsense things.. What was so special about them? What exactly could draw someone to them?
The male leaned against the counter and let out a soft sigh. His deep brown eyes watching those in the club. The music rang in his ears and grated on his nerves but still he remained. What was keeping him here? Even he wasn't sure of that he just wanted to get away from the pack, away from Esther. Though he loved his family dearly and he knew they loved him he felt slightly... apart? Still haunted by the nightmares of his childhood, his birth family he rarely cared to sleep.. Closing his eyes even for a moment meant meeting those people he had no memories of, his brother, mother and his poor father. A smirked crawled it's way onto his face and he shifted in his chair before taking the small glass that was next to him, he wasn't drinking age but he didn't care nor did the bartender or anyone else for that matter.
Putting the glass to his lips, he swallowed the contents in one gulp and set the glass down with a soft thud. "What is the point in all of this..?" he mumbled to himself as he tapped his cheek.

I t had been a long day for the Dartainan. Orders piling upon his desk from things that needed to be done in the village. He sat in his chair at this office, leaning back and looking up at the ceiling he began to think. What in the world have I gotten myself into? I wasn’t ever really fit for this job… He needed a drink and loud music to drown out the thoughts in his head. Heading up stairs he was going to change into going out cloths. Putting on a black t-shirt, dark jeans, and biker boots. Tucking his tail into his jeans and placing a black beanie on his head to cover his ears. Grabbing his keys he headed downstairs to his garage to the black 69 Camaro. Unlocking the door he slid into the seat and started the car, igniting the engine and listening to the purr of the finely tuned vehicle. A wide smile spread across his face as he pressed the button for the garage door to open and drove out of the village.
Dartainan finally entered the city as it had taken him a bit over an hour to even get to the city from the roads. Driving around he looked to see if anything had caught his attention enough to stop and go in. So far nothing had. It was then the Crucible Nightclub came to his mind. It had been a long time since he had been to the club. It was one of his favorite places in the city when he came here. Taking a right turn he gunned the car and got to the club in record time. Parking out front he killed the car, got out, and walked to the front of the line while people gave him funny looks asking who he thought he was. What they didn’t know was that Dartainan had a pass that gave him front of the line entrance. The club owner was a dear friend. He smirked as everyone else threw up their hands and frowned while he walked past the bouncer with a nod.
Once inside the club his mood changed. The music sending chills down his body as the beat thumped in the speakers. Dartainan scanned the crowd, his glazed locked on a familiar figure at the bar. Moving towards the person he sat down and spoke in a slightly raised voice to be heard,”odd to see you here. I thought you weren’t crazy about places like this?” Turning his head to look at the Anax of the Lycians his gazed fixed on Choi Kang Chi. A smile spread across his face as the flagged down the bartender and ordered a Jack Daniel's and Coke. “What are you doing here”,he asked. Taking a sip from his drink he waited for his friend to answer him.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Zedekiah had shut his eyes as if to block out the sight before him. He came here because he wanted away.. But this noise.. This insufferable noise seemed to vibrate in his very bones. How could any Lycan wish to live among humans? Out in the woods it was free and quiet, it was comforting and one could easily relax. but still he forced himself to remain. He yearned to understand why his father had chosen a life that got him and his wife killed and his two sons separated.
His eyes opened and he turned away from the scene and faced the inside of the bar, his gaze eyeing the contents of the shelves. Each drink that stood there had different amounts in them, none were equal but despite the amount of stuff that sat on the shelves everything seemed neat and orderly, clean.
He had gone into his own little world and the music was only distant in his ears. The sounds of people chattering and falling over each other in attempts to dance then... He heard a voice, what was it? Was it speaking to him. Blinking several times he looked next to him and relaxed when he saw the King of Nekomata's and gave an almost smile.
"I do." he said quietly as he looked over the other male before looking down to the counter and his empty glass. Taking the glass between his middle finger and thumb he tilted it side to side. "Not sure what exactly brought me here.. Maybe curiosity?" he spoke almost as if speaking to himself.
