Overall Personality • Kang Chi, as described by his late mother, is a kind hearted man who only seeks to please those around him. He has a strong love for his pack and strives to seek out any problems if they so arise. He's sharp and quick to respond but he does have a temper that flares easily. He's loving and gentle but he also knows how to take charge. He can be rather short with some and doesn't take to strangers. His parents were a happily mated(married) pair that had chosen to live among humans along with their first born son, Sung Jae. The pair lived rather normal lives, Jin-Hyuk went to work among the humans and earned a living for his wife and two sons whom he loved dearly. To him, they were everything and that was why he had chosen to live in the city of Seoul. When Sung Jae was three and Kang Chi was expected was when he{Jyn-Hyuk} decided it was best to move from their pack and away from the constant threat of being hunted. He wanted to protect them and give them a life that they could be proud of and live comfortably. Sung Jae was only four when Kang Chi was born and had already started school but right off the bat Sung Jae knew he was different and found it hard to cope with the changes. Toddler - four years: As Kang Chi aged he showed promising signs of being a strong Lycan, something his father was proud of yet ashamed of all at once. He wanted his son to know the truth but decided to keep it from him and hope that as time past the boy wouldn't discover his hidden ability. From an early age, Kang Chi was interested in everything. He loved his brother and they got along quite well and Sung Jae was rather protective of his younger brother. The young boys always did everything together, Kang Chi even tried to go to school with his older brother but to no avail. The family hid what they were well and Kang Chi aged without any trouble. They were able to keep him from phasing into his true form and he wouldn't find out later, until it was to late. They lived comfortably for four years then their trouble began.. Word had gotten out that the Choi family was a family of lycans and in the dead of night things happened.. The front door was broken down and windows were shattered. Slurs were yelled and the sound of smoke bombs hissed as the invaders entered into the house and began to trash the house, breaking glass, knocking things over as they searched for the family. It was then that the father and mother phased into their true forms and moved in silence through the thick smoke that now hung in the house making it easy for them to stay hidden.. The snarls echoed in the house and sent fear through the invaders hearts and brought them to a stand still as they looked around for the sounds. Then it happened. Jyn-Hyuk launched himself out of the smoke and onto one of the men who threatened his family... not much could be said about what happened next as Kang Chi doesn't remember any of it and Sung Jae was separated from him in the end. Four-present After the incident, Kang Chi's father fell into a coma and his mother's mental state was declining rapidly and both were soon deemed not fit to have children. Both Sung Jae and Kang Chi were take away a housing for abandoned/homeless Lycan children and that was when the brothers were separated. Kang Chi was adopted by an American family and was renamed 'Zedekiah' and Sung Jae was left to live in the housing with the other 'unwanted' children. With little to no memory of what had occurred Kang Chi grew up in America with his new family. Although from the time he was seven he knew he was adopted he never felt like he was. He loved his family and knew what was expected of him. The family that had adopted him were told the story of his parents and what had happened and later were informed that the mother and father had passed away and before the could adopt the brother the boy had disappeared without a trace. Kang Chi was occasionally haunted by nightmares of the night that his family was attacked though he didn't recognize the people or the names that they screamed out and though he was curious about them he never brought them up to anyone.. Throughout his childhood, Kang Chi's closest friend was his adoptive sister and Anois. At the age of thirteen his adoptive parents decided it was best that he knew what had happened and told him the story of where he came from and why his parents weren't around. The boy listened carefully and took everything in. He couldn't bring himself to cry because he felt like it was untrue, like it couldn't have happened but then again it matched his dream.. He had a brother, no wonder that boy in his dream felt familiar? It was then that he vowed to take over his adoptive father's pack and make it strong enough to keep any human out.
