It had been years since he had left his uncle and brother. Now it was time for him to settle down and to stop running. He was well rooted in this area. Already had an apartment and a job he liked. Now he only needed a Clan. It was nighttime. The moon had cycled and become full once more. Her light shining upon everything it touched as it lit up the world. Stars twinkled in place like a light show. Standing in a nearby field of his apartment complex with the woods just a few yards before him Adonis began to call the wolf deep inside him. It had been a long time since he shifted last. His bones crunching and grinding together, causing him pain that made him grit his teeth to keep from screaming out. Falling to his knees and hands the transformation had consumed him.
Once he was in his wolf form now he stretched, getting the feel for this body once more. What he felt most was hunger. The wolf was starving which drove him into the woods to hunt like his uncle had taught him. Sniffing about he caught the scent of deer. Silently following the scent it led him to a smaller field that was inclosed by the tree line. His eyes beamed at the sight of a fawn that he knew couldn’t escape him. Crouching he moved closer, stopping when the doe lifted her head to look around. He was a shadow. Soon the doe stood and began to call out to the others. A low growl came from his throat as they all began to stir and stand to get ready to bolt. The fawn still laid upon the ground, this would be an easy meal for himself.
Jumping from the bushes the doe and the other mothers began to run. To bad for the fawn he had jumped right onto it. Leaning his weight onto the small body, Adonis took the fawn’s neck between his canine teeth and crushed it. Holding onto the fawn until it stopped moving. It was then that he caught the smell of another wolf. He must be close to a borderline. His body froze with thought. This is what he had been looking for and yet why did he hesitate? He needed to have people in his life that were like him. He needed to have a Clan. With a last minute decision he lifted his head to the moon and called for the leader of the Clan. Sitting and waiting patiently he sat behind the fawn he would offer as a gift in hope to be accepted. Now all he needed to do was wait and see what would happen.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Zedekiah was out alone. He need to think..Since finding out what he was he preferred to be in his wolf state and spent much of his time wondering the forest grounds, more so at night. This particular night the moon had driven him out of the comfort of his home and he now walked on all fours, moving silently in the night. Esther had provoked him earlier and without thinking he snapped at her and made her cry - he was really good at that.
His wolf form wasn't exactly big but it wasn't small either. His reddish coat seemed to soak in the bluish glow of the moon and gave off a soft firey look. The scents around him were familiar to him yet somehow strange.. He felt that this night in particular was different, strange, like something was going to happen. Stiffening, he scented the air once more and caught the scent of fear.. Someone was hunting! Hunting near his territory, pulling his lips back into the beginnings of a snarl he moved forwards following the smell that now mingled with death and the scent of another wolf and not just any wolf, one like him.
Perking his ears forwards he now walked in a more dignified way and held his head proudly but then stopped dead.. A howl..? His eyes lit with the flames of excitement.. Was it an intruder that or would it be someone that he could call friend.. Friend? he smirked at his own silly usage of the word. There were no friends in this day, not even allies. Shaking his head, he tossed it back and gave a throaty howl in answer to the other wolf's howl. The howl said 'come.. come forth, let us meet'

Adonis sat only for a while until he heard a return howl. His ears perking up in attention as he listened. His body tingled with excitement. He was not only a little unsure since he had hunted so close to their borderline, but slightly unsure if they’d even want his offering. He guessed he’d just have to see. Adonis called out with his voice,”I am at the border. I wish to ask for acceptance. I also come with offerings.” His voice was clear and loud enough to be heard. Looking down at the fawn he hoped it was enough should the one that called out to him have more following after him. Adonis kept still. His tail wrapped around his paws. Ears attentive. His body relaxed as he tried to remain that way for the excitement began to build. This could be his chance, his chance to feel at home again. Now all he’d have to do was wait and see what the male would say.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY
Excitement shot through the male like a flame through a dry forest. His eyes lit up and he listened close to the cry that came from the other and once more he threw his head back and howled in response. A howl that started out deep and throaty but ended in a soft, musical way. The howl said
' I'm coming.. Remain where you are.'
His howl lasted for a short moment before all went silent again. His nose quivered as he took the smells before setting off towards the border. It was a single male and he had indeed brought something with him. The warm smell of the blood washed over his senses as he moved closer before finally coming within viewing of the other.
Licking his lips he let out a soft bark to announce his arrival before moving into view and looking up and down the other curiously. Don't be to hard but don't be to easy, he told himself as he moved to stand a good few feet away from the other.
"Greetings." he called out to the other wolf.

Listening to the returned howls he was told to remain where he was. Which he intended to do to show that he wasn’t hunting on their lands for one. For two he didn’t want anything else to try and make off with his kill for the offering. Hearing pawsteps and a small bark before seeing a reddish appearing out of the tree line. The midnight pelted wolf sat perfectly still and straight up. Ears at full attention on the new male. Adonis watched every move made by the male, a small grin twisted his lips as the brute greeted him with words and not harm. “Greetings sir. I am Adonis Raptis”,he bowed to show submission and respect,”I’ve come to see if there are others of my kind here and if there was a pack to be able to join.” His mouth watered as the smell of blood entered his nose. Making his stomach slightly growl, he tried to suck in to make it stop. Thinking to himself that he definitely should have ate before coming here.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY The brute wagged his tail as he received the greeting before he too sat down and wrapped his tail over his paws. "Your kind..?' he asked with a tilt of his head before nodding back towards the way he came. "There are many of us, but few actually decide to acknowledge what they are." he said, his voice almost weary as he spoke. Flattening an ear he looked squarely the male and breathed a deep breath before smiling too.
"I will not ask many questions tonight, I will allow for us to get to know each other better as time goes on.. But.. I will ask this.. Are you sure you wish to live among your own kind instead of the humans?" he spoke quietly but at the word human, his tone seemed to drop to even more of a whisper. "We rarely mingle with them, for they don't understand us." he said as he looked up to the sky then seemed to laugh softly. "ah, enough of those questions.. Do you promise to be loyal to the pack?" he asked as he got to his paws and edged closer to the male, a spark of excitement flaring in his eyes.

Adonis watched as the other Lycan sat before him. Listening he heard that not to many actually acknowledge what they are. He was one of those people for a while. Scared of his other half that warred in his body to be let out. The first few times he turned they were painful. His turn tonight was painful but not nearly as his first time of changing. A small grin matched that of the brute across from him. Showing he was still listening. He was asked if he was sure to live among them instead of where he lived now. He hated where he lived. Nodding Adonis spoke up,”I do not mingle with humans as it is. The only way I even acknowledge them is at my job as a bouncer at one of the Crucible Nightclub.” Adonis grew quiet as the brute spoke again asking him if he would be loyal to the pack. A nod and a smile crossed his face,”aye, I agree to pledge my loyalty to the pack.” He bowed his head in respect and then looked back to his new leader.

Zedekiah twitched his nose in thought before nodding with a nod smile. "Then I Welcome you to the pack." he said as he stood and stepped to the side, his eyes lighting up with joy. "Ah! Before I forget, my name is Zedekiah."
The brownish red wolf said with a wag of his tail then a bow to the other as a sign of respect and greeting. "Your rank in the pack will be overseer.. After my word, your word is law and to be honored and obeyed at all times." the brute said in a gentle tone as he looked over the other wolf and gave a nod of satisfaction.
